How is it that every time I watch this my heart skips several beats? Just writing about it makes me all misty-eyed!
Swoon! Where have all the great romances gone? Will there ever be "another" Sound of Music?? Here's hoping! But for now I'll snuggle up with Mathias and watch this scene again and again!

I, too, love the Sound of Mucus. I only call it that b/c my sister played in the orchestra for the school play, and my parents made me see it 3 times in a row.
How could you not swoon with Christopher Plummer all dreamy eyed like that? DANG! I miss pre-war romance ;)
Jen, when you were a child I watched this part over and over again just to learn the Laendler. I wanted Dad to dance it with me.....
So many of my childhood memories involve this movie. The songs, the characters the pink lemonade. Next time we're together let's watch it.
